Communication Studies Minor

The Communication Studies minor provides students with an overview of the principles and applications of effective communication. Topics include an analysis of interpersonal relationships from a biblical perspective, the interaction and influence of mass communication and the emergence of new technologies, the development of advanced speaking skills, effective strategies for cross-cultural communications, and the legal aspects of communication.
Students may earn a minor in the field by completing the following 18 credit hours and any required prerequisites provided none of the courses is required in the student’s major.
